At the recently concluded Philippine Quill Awards, PLDT Smart SME Nation received the Award of Excellence and Award of Merit for its Bossing Ako and Small Business Month campaigns, respectively.

Presented by the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) Philippines, the annual Philippine Quill Awards celebrates the exceptional communication initiatives among businesses and the campaigns ability to reach goals and impact audiences. IABC Philippines is a chapter of the 14,000 member organization International Association of Business Communicators (IABC).

Started in 2008, Bossing Ako is a yearly endeavor that recognizes Filipino entrepreneurs who have greatly impacted the business sector through their creativity, determination, and perseverance. In keeping with PLDT Smart SME Nations efforts to empower micro, small and medium entrepreneurs and support them in the growth of their businesses, the campaign features established entrepreneurs with the objective of inspiring other business owners.

In the same night, PLDT Smart SME Nation bagged the Award of Merit for the Small Business Month campaign, which highlighted the small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the Philippines and educated attendees on revolutionary business practices, financial tools, and digital business solutions. In line with the mission to provide SME partners with easy access to business tools and solutions, Small Business Month campaign served as a forum and bridge to digitize small businesses.
