In line with the vision of business innovation, the Philippine Franchise Association (PFA) and PLDT Smart SME Nation presented an avenue for small and medium enterprise (SMEs) owners  to engage in the digital culture.Last May 18, PLDT Smart SME Nation co-hosted the Digital Marketing Seminar: Harnessing The Power Of Digital Marketing with PFA, inviting entrepreneurs to get involved in the digital world.


Established business owners shared knowledge on plan for success with the use of digital media. The chief executive officer (CEO) of Purple Click Phils, Piccina Alvarez guided the audience on managing and optimizing digital investments. Paul Rivera, the CEO and founder of Kalibrr led panel discussion on the vitality of digital marketing in todays world.


As PFA and PLDT Smart SME Nation continue to push Filipino businesses to make it big, the seminar created channels for global success. Since PFA is committed to serving Filipino businesses through international promotion and franchising opportunities, The Digital Marketing Seminar encouraged the use of innovative digital tools that will reach not only Filipinos, but the international market. Country Director of A.S. Louken Sachi, Cheech Santos, shared insight on how to strengthen brand presence in the digital age.

She was joined by Lianne Dehaye, the manager of Facebook South East Asia, who spoke about how to maximize Facebook for businesses.In order to further maximize the opportunities for small and medium enterprises, the business owners could participate in a one-on-one consultation with the speakers.

Through this, attendees were given the chance to learn more about how they can maximize their digital investments. With PLDT Smart SME Nations commitment to empower SMEs, business owners were made aware of the possible business tools and solutions available to keep up with the fast-paced world of technology.
