PLDT Smart SME Nation inks partnership with Philippine Mobile Food Truck Association

Food Truck

Following the success of the Kampo BGC event last March 18, PLDT Smart SME Nation officially inked its partnership with the Philippine Mobile Food Truck Association to continue to bring the food festival and night market experience to another level with digital payments and commerce solutions.

The partnership aims to equip food trucks all over the country with solutions that allow business owners and their employees to adapt to the growing culture of cashless transactions in the growing technologically-driven market.

With more online platforms arriving to bring digital services to the mainstream lifestyle, PLDT Smart SME Nation enables entrepreneurs to depart from the manual modes of processing information and efficiently manage day-to-day operations with proper digital tools, such as e-payment solution PayMaya and the Smart Store Manager.

Equipped with PayMaya Swipe terminals powered by Smart, merchants of food trucks will be able to experience a more modern way of accepting payments. With only a mobile point-of-sale (POS) device attached to their smart phones, business owners are able to easily accommodate customers’ credit card payments and give them added value in their purchasing experience.

Alongside the e-payment solution, PLDT Smart SME Nation will be providing the Smart Store Manager solution to merchants, allowing the easy documentation of customer purchases and real-time inventory tracking, all made possible through a single mobile application. Not only does the solution generate fully-automated sales reports, but it also enables entrepreneurs to organize data that they can leverage for the growth of their business.

By working with partners like the Philippine Mobile Food Truck Association, PLDT Smart SME Nation remains dedicated its mission to empower micro, small, and medium enterprises with digital tools and business solutions to make it big in business, and ultimately works towards the goal of sustained economic development for the growth of the nation.
