PLDT Smart SME Nation, in partnership with the Philippine Franchise Association (PFA), increases its efforts to promote the development of local micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) around the country.
Last April 8, PFA launched the three-day Franchise Visayas Expo in Ayala Center Cebu to further encourage the growth of entrepreneurship in the country through franchising. Over 1,000 startups and aspiring business owners were in attendance to learn about how to build their own franchises, as well as the different digital tools they can use to boost their business.
The expo presented attendees with sessions that featured successful entrepreneurs, and discussed how to invest in the right franchise. Different exhibitors were also invited to introduce business opportunities for interested franchisers. PLDT Smart SME Nation also shared how engaging on the technological platform would enable a business not only to save on operating costs, but also to eventually tap into global markets.
Following the Franchise Visayas Expo, PLDT Smart SME Nation and PFA will be organizing the first Franchise Mindanao in Davao from May 20-22, 2016.
In line with the mission of the small-and-medium enterprise arm of the country’s leading telecoms and multimedia services provider to empower MSMEs to make it big in their respective industries, PLDT Smart SME Nation supports PFA’s vision of nation building and economic development through the growth of the business sector.
