The micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) arm of PLDT Inc. continues to lead thought leadership and disruptive innovation with learning opportunities that inspire success, impart knowledge, and create impact among Filipino entrepreneurs.
Together with the Management Association of the Philippines (MAP), PLDT SME Nation launched the first-ever SME Business Clinic last August 2 at the New World Hotel Makati. With the theme “On-Boarding SMEs for the ASEAN Market,” the business clinic was organized with the end goal of improving SME competitiveness in the country.
Business owners gathered to witness successful Filipino entrepreneurs share their stories and key learnings on expanding their business and thriving in regional and global environments. Plenary speakers Kim Lato, Founder and Owner of Kimstore and PLDT SME Nation’s first Boss for e-Commerce, and Milit Baron, President of Manila Catering Corporation, emphasized the importance of technology and innovation in the growth of business.
With the upcoming ASEAN integration, PLDT SME Nation shares the vision of MAP to support SMEs address challenges and opportunities brought about by the international economic community with avenues that open gateways to interact with like-minded individuals and companies, and make it big in business.
