PLDT SME Nation’s TechMobile, dubbed the “E-Commerce on Wheels,” has been making its rounds in Batangas to enable micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to be future-ready by giving them tools to bring their business on the digital platform.
Entrepreneurs in Batangas were able to experience the beginnings of making it big with the new mobile technology platform powered by the small and medium enterprise arm of the country’s leading telecoms and multimedia services provider. Prior to Batangas, the TechMobile extended its reach to MSMEs in Lucena and Sta. Rosa.
The TechMobile, a caravan comprised of business solutions and digital tools designed to empower MSMEs, provides them with the opportunity to efficiently manage their business by optimizing and digitizing business marketing, operations, and management.
Despite the rapid expansion of the digital market both locally and globally, only 1% of the country’s MSMEs can be found online and only a fraction of that 1% have fully-transactional websites.
With the e-Commerce on Wheels, MSMEs benefit from a basic connectivity set-up for their business and consultation on which specific tools can help boost their business. Solutions include mobile connectivity bundles from Smart which are particularly ideal for MSMEs in regional areas where IT infrastructures may not be as fully developed.
With an array of tools specifically designed to help MSMEs establish their digital footprint, PLDT SME Nation helps level the playing field by making enterprise-level asset, service and inventory management tools accessible to startups and budding entrepreneurs anywhere in the Philippines.
PLDT SME Nation makes it its mission to help MSMEs all over the country take on the digital platform to make their services and operations more efficient by providing connectivity, support, and hardware specifically tailor-fit to meet their needs.
